I have heard that line for years; in fact I've probably said it a thousand times in my own life! But those who view online pornography are being constantly deceived. They are entirely unaware of what really goes into creating those images, videos, and stories. Pornography may appear to be exciting, glamorous, but the life on both sides of the lens is cruel, sad, indifferent and far from satisfying.
I, Jeff Myers, was a pornographer, one of the 10 largest online pornography producers in America. I have taken part in a sin that was not only devastating in my own life, but has also destroyed the lives of hundreds of young girls, and millions of viewers worldwide. These lives were ruined due to my own greed and search for intimacy at any cost. It is true that s present id's, sign releases, and contract forms. But even though we tried to educate them in our own selfish way, they never know the road that will one day lead them down. These contracts are often the deeds to their families, careers, esteem and ultimately, their souls.
Contrary to popular belief,
none of the women in porn like what they have to do on the set, though they often put on that happy face for the camera. The industry preys particularly on insecure women who have not experienced genuine love. We offered them money and fame as if it was some kind of replacement for the empty and lonely life’s they were forced to lead. I have been on the phone with models who were about to kill themselves because their friends and family have found out what they have done, or sometimes just due to the personal shame they feel at the end of the day. Even if escape finally comes, once the images are on the net, they are there forever, creating lifetime of destruction for these exploited women and to those who view them.
When you discover the truth about porn, you'll find that it is not pretty, glamorous or exciting. Instead, it is a sick monster that has a doll face, and behind the fake smile of its workers are hearts and lives on the edge; hearts that just want to be loved. They are searching, hoping to find the intimacy that only God can bring. I couldn't ignore that, and now I'm changed. I am no longer Jeff Myers the producer. I am redeemed and rescued by Christ, and now I'm focused on fighting against this demonic force in our culture to set others free.
The reporting institute for the adult industry boldly brags that Americans view 319,507,200 sites a day. While the adult industry does not focus its marketing to children, their number one viewers
are kids between 12 and 17 years old - who have ready access to adult images by the guidelines our Government has currently mandated. The viewing of this material sends a message to your generation that sex is not a wholesome gift from God, but rather a product devoid of love that simply exists to be bought, sold, and exploited for pleasure. Porn and its producers are feeding your generation a lie about sex and it is creating a culture where "real relationships" and "deep intimacy" are sold for $19.95 on an adult website.

need you to fight for them and talk to them about it. They need your
